2012~ 2026 The Fifth Time, Coming Home

After "An Invitation" went up
we received our first reply_from old friends Wei-Chen and Ying-Zi💖

In 2012, they visited Errantry Lodge for the first time
at the time, the two of them were about to move from a world of just-the-two-of-them into a new chapter of life

By 2026, this is already their fifth time "coming back" to Errantry Lodge
this time, Jing-Mei came back with them again

Fourteen years have passed, the child has grown up
life looks different now, too
but some things haven't changed at all

to 2026, this is our fifth time "coming back" to Errantry Lodge
Wei-Chen ＋ Ying-Zi, now with Jing-Mei too

We know Errantry Lodge will always be there in Hualien, waiting for us to come home

Ying-Zi's profile photo online was taken at Errantry Lodge, and she's never changed it
the fish pond in the courtyard is what Jing-Mei misses most
Mei-Feng's breakfast is what Wei-Chen looks forward to

Looking back on the years gone by, what we've gained is age
what's faded is our youth, what's built up is the wisdom of living

Life has its tiredness, and its joy too; its laughter, and its sorrow
as long as we're healthy and safe, it's all good
